Industry Reference: Magnetic Terms
The definitions below are industry-reference terminology, not an ASTROMAGNET performance specification.

Remanence
Residual magnetic flux density after magnetization.

Grade and Temperature Class
A higher grade number should not be selected in isolation. ASTROMAGNET’s stated grade range is N25–N52; no approved public working-temperature table is available.
INDUSTRY_REFERENCE — final material and performance remain subject to the approved drawing, specification, sample and production-lot inspection.
Coating Selection
Nickel, zinc, epoxy and phosphating are supported treatments. Selection depends on corrosion exposure, handling, assembly and dimensional allowance. Gold and silver plating may be arranged externally.
